Those who spend their wealth day and
night, openly and secretly, they will have
their reward from their lord and they shall
have no fear nor will they grieve.
Surah Baqrah Ayat:274 Welfare school Roshan Sitara

1 All the students belong to under privileged families with average home hold income less then Rs. 15,000/- per month. These students are being provided with free education, uniform (summer/winter), text books, note books, physical treatment facilities and lunch facilities. Roshan Sitara is constantly trying to create opportunities for the development and growth of its primary stakeholders. Roshan Sitara is a pure welfare institute which aims to help out slum communities by providing them free educational and vocational skills. It runs diverse projects for health, environmental protection and economic stability of these residents simultaneously. Roshan Sitara is founded by Mrs Imran with the help of her philanthropist friends in May’ 2017. In 2020, the Roshan Sitara School has enrolled 150 and registered 200 students up till grade 5.
In 2022, the Roshan Sitara School

Number of campuses: 3

We are striving to build up national talent by providing quality education and training facilities to underserved children and families. 2 To serve economically and socially under privileged communities by enhancing their physical, mental and vocational capabilities. We are planning to create a progressive environment in these areas so people prefer to send their children to schools and training institutes instead of making their child laborers or beggars. Our focus is to make these residents economically self-sustain over a period of time. 3 Roshan Sitara wants to break the vicious circle of poverty in slum communities by enabling the younger generation to make them useful in the society after acquiring need based quality education and skills to develop confidence and sense of responsibility among students is the basic focus of our program. OUR GOAL: Roshan Sitara by the grace of Allah Almighty is thankful to all its directors / sponsors and donors, who have converted this dream in to reality.
Roshan Sitara is not getting any grant from any NGO or Government Organization. It's total cash flow is through private charity that has enabled the institute to fulfill the expenditure of school books, stationary, teacher’s salary, vocational equipment, medicine, medical camps, ration to the families, building rent and other overheads. We appreciate this kind gesture of our donors through the core of our heart and pray to Allah Subhan Taala to accept their pious deeds and give them reward and spiritual strength to keep their efforts constant.

Alhumdullilah there are many NGOS that I come across that are helping the underserved in terms of education for children. However, I envision something that entails a little more than just that. The goal of Roshan Sitara school is not just to educate with bookish knowledge, but to enrich the underserved with certain skills that may help them prosper in the future. Teaching the importance of hard earned money is something extremely integral but that is incomplete without actually teaching these people the skills that will help them earn decent earning. Alhamdolilah, we along with friends have created a platform where skills will be taught to young women so that they can help make ends meet in vocational school. Alhamdullilah by the grace of Allah we have launched Roshan Sitara welfare school in May 2017 with 150 Students enrolled and 200 registered and Vocational School with 60 Students up to date.

These service could have never been materialized without the constant support of our board of directors who made themselves available all the time along with their monetary and non-monetary resources to meet high goals in limited time period. We wish all the best to our Students and staff who are working selflessly day and night for the betterment of underserved segment of Lahore. Pakistan.

3- Who are the buyers?
The buyers are the underserved communities or the lower socioeconomic class, earning between 6-20k. They can be orphans, widows or having no breadwinners. The purpose is to let them have access of quality preloved items in cheaper rates and also trying to train them to buy stuff rather then getting it for FREE all the time.

4- Where will be the Money/Revenue used?
The generated amount will be used in our upcoming Middle school. Though these funds won't be enough for the whole school but will partially help in the running cost. (Total School cost will also be shared soon).
